(1) Contact Information

Blog URL

An absolute essential if you wanted to be taken seriously – so naturally, it’s also the top priority on our media kit for bloggers!

Every influencer should have a blog to showcase their personal brand. Feature your top posts and showcase your personality by even writing just one blog post a month.

Don’t have one yet? No problem!

Head over to my six step tutorial for launching your blog like a pro.

It costs less than one Starbucks a month to host your website and can give you an edge when bidding for campaigns against other influencers.

Email Address

Use a professional email like the one associated with your blog. In my case, I always use contact at nikkiblogs dot com when it comes to my business or Instagram profile.

If you’re an influencer without a unique domain damn email address, I highly recommend getting setup with one stat.

Use your pre-existing blog or, if you don’t have one yet, see the link above and get started now.

If however, this is not the right time for you to do so, use an email address that features your real name or social media handle.

Location

While it doesn’t have to be exact, providing your location can help local brands connect with you.

(2) Social Media Stats

Include all forms of Social Media that you are active on as well as your follower count and/or engagement rate if you are an Instagram Influencer looking to collaborate with brands.

Be active on at least two social media platforms from the following list:

If you will include Facebook Stats, be sure that you are using a Facebook Fan Page and NOT a Personal Profile.

(3) Your Photo

  • Use a high quality, well edited photo to represent your brand.
  • Unless you are a fashion blogger or actor, make sure that you’re flashing a gorgeous smile in the shot you choose.
  • You want to appear approachable and authentic.

(4) About You

Provide some basic details about yourself and what it is you do plus the following:

  • Why do you blog?
  • When did you start blogging?
  • If you have more than one blog, mention this here

(5) About Your Blog(s)

Answer some basic questions potential partners might have about your site(s) including these:

  • When was it founded?
  • What is your blog about?
  • Why did you start this one?

(6) Popular Posts

Include your top five performing posts (or however many you feel is fit for your media kit) in addition to their accompanying statistics – check out this Instagram post checklist to make sure your posts perform better!

Use the actual title from your Blog NOT the URL attached to the post. It will look much cleaner this way.

Link the posts with their URL’s in your online media kit so potential sponsors and business partners can check them out too!

(7) Blog Analytics

Provide details about your:

Page Views

  • How many page views do you get on average a month?
  • How many page views has your blog had overall?

Demographics

  • How many unique site visitors do you get a month?
  • How many unique site visitors have you had overall?
  • What percentage of your audience is women vs. men?
  • What age group is your audience comprised of?
  • What geographic locations make up the largest part of your audience?

(8) Collaborations

Include both:

  • Brand you’ve worked with
  • Other influencers you’ve partnered with

(9) Services You Offer

Include any services that brands may be interested in hiring you for, such as:

  • Instagram Posts
  • Pin Design & Promotion
  • Photography
  • Blog Posts
  • Event Attendance

Bonus: If you would like, include your rate for various services. Consider using the phrase “Starting at” in order to establish this as your base price.

However, don’t feel obligated to list your prices in your media kit. I personally set mine on an case by case scenario.

While some small shops or agencies may not have the budget for your services, the opportunity they offer could be a great addition to your portfolio.

Maintain your worth but feel free to adjust for the right collaboration.
