My oldest daughter absolutely loves all of the colorful flags and jerseys she’s seeing while we watch soccer on the daily.
And I absolutely love teaching my kids about their heritage!
My husband is Slovak and I’m Croatian, so it’s really neat to have both of our countries qualified for this football championship.
I hope this free printable education resource is as much fun for you and your little ones as it was for me to create 🙂

Europe Map Coloring Activity
Have your child color each flag and choose a unique color for each coordinating geographic outline.
Feel free to choose anything from florescent colors to different shades of the traditional red, blue, and green featured on many flags.
Once each page is colored, stack them beside the large map of Europe and have your child look for each matching country shape.
For younger children (ages 3 to 8), offer assistance and/or use an Atlas or a globe to encourage geographic shape recognition.
Note: Unfortunatelty, the template I used for this doesn’t include Russia or Turkey 😐 Feel free to add them in or set these pages aside.
If and when I come across a more complete detailed map, I’ll update this post and that page.
